(More customer reviews)We've been really impressed with this remote control monster truck, purchased for our 5 year old. The charge takes a bit of time (8 hours the first two charges, 4 hours after that), but are happy with how long the truck runs on a charge. Our son plays with it off and on during the day and can have a full day's worth of play before putting it back on the charger. It's not too loud, has a good front and back bumper that absorbs and doesn't damage the walls, or do damage to the truck.
The thing we like about it the most is that it's simple, and not too fast for a learning child. It zooms down the hall pretty quick, but not so fast it's out of control. Guiding it around the house is a challenge, but not impossible because it races so fast like some remote control cars I've used.
The big wheels are rubber and flexible and allow it to do some some cool monster truck driving over other toys. We also like that doesn't have any amplified engine sounds that get annoying.
