(More customer reviews)This was a gift for my six year old son, who can follow any set of Lego or Knex instructions on his own to create an exact replica of the illustration. These instructions, however, are impossible to follow. They don't explain anything at all about what the (very few) images show or how they might relate to each other. He got so frustrated he went to bed. Having said that, you don't really need to build the object shown. The pegs connect in any combination and the lighting-up part is extremely cool and satisfying, so you can just play with it as a free-form sculpture.

Little pieces, like the flag the astronaut was holding, broke off pretty quickly. He enjoys playing with the figures, but if you are looking for a sturdy toy, you should buy something else.

He's still pretty young but was able to build it without too much help. Great exercise in reading instructions and building things (mostly) on his own.

Fisher-Price Little People Builders Build 'n Drive Carriage Review

(More customer reviews)I have a child that just turned 1 year of age and got this as a gift. The issue that I see with this toy is that when weight is put on the back of the carriage, the front end pops up off the ground at a fast rate. Today my daughter smacked herself in the face with the front end on 3 different occasions bringing cries and tears from each incident. The third time was enough for me. I doubt I will be letting her play with it for at least another 6 months to a year. Not for younger children. Bad gift for a 1 year old.

However, once I have finally gotten to look at the vehicle at my house I almost don't want to do anything to it because it really is a great item and although its generic looks quite unique. I will have to think long and hard to try and find a way to improve on it to get any more distinctive. This really is a great toy.

You get directions to make 3 models. It's usually worth it to get more than one of these, and use the models as inspiration for your own similarly themed creations.

(More customer reviews)My husband and I really loved this toy, especially the functionality of the removable handle, so we took our son to the local Toys R' Us to try it out. My son absolutely loved it, but he kept sliding down in the seat and trying to climb out. We looked at a few other competitor's models and found them to have safety belts, which made them preferable. We cannot understand why a company as large as Little Tykes that specializes in children's toys does not comprehend the need for a safety belt on their ride on toys! Anyway, we read one of the reviews on this toy where a woman ordered a replacement belt for the toddler high back swing from the Little Tykes website and drilled and cut holes in this car and added this seat belt to make it safer. Well, we found a better way of installing a seat belt. A competitor, Step 2, has a product called the "Push Around Buggy" which has a seat belt that screws into the car. I went to their website and called their phone number and ordered a replacement belt for their item, which only costs around $2.50! What a deal! Well, all you have to do is screw the seat belt straps into each side of the car and viola', you have a safer version of the Little Tykes Cozy Push and Ride Car. We sincerely hope Little Tykes will catch on to parent's concerns about the safety of their little ones and make sure all of their ride on toys are equipped with a safety belt!

As a book holder its really not so great. It does an OK job, the books are modestly easy to put in. I don't see the ability to drag around 3 books as sometthing that is a strong need, or even enjoyable.
What this product does do nicely is provide a nice pull cart for your child. For this, its well worth the price and provides hours of enjoyment. Just don't get stuck on the book-toting ability.

Kettler Pushbar 4 Position Pushbar Chrome Plated Review

(More customer reviews)I thought that potential consumers out there would like to know that this push bar CAN be used on the Jumbo Kettrike. Like the previous reviewer, I bought the Jumbo Kettrike and yes, the push bar does not fit. However, I called Kettler USA (you can find them online) and I was told that I needed an adapter (looks like a connector of some kind made of plastic) which they sent free of charge. The instructions are a little obscure but it makes it easier when both the seat and the bucket are taken off the trike before installing the adapter. It took me less than 15 mins (I spent more time trying to understand the pictures-only instructions!). Overall, it's one of the better push bars out there. Height is adjustable and everything fits into place and there are no wobbles (assuming you put everything together properly!)

(More customer reviews)Before we knew we were having twins, we received 1 mini-comfy cozy lambie. One of my twins became very attached to it and as they grew older the other one was sad that she didn't have one too.
I searched high and low for the mini comfy cozy and found that they were limited edition and people wanted OUTRAGEOUS amounts for them on Ebay.
The regular comfy cozy seemed too large...so we gave this a shot...and it worked. Now they are both happy to have "a Kawa Lamby" as they call them...where do they come up with this stuff? :)
It's a little bit thicker than the comfy cozy, but similar in that it's furry on one side and silky on the other with a formed head and flat body.
I also now buy these for friends and embroider the name of the baby on the foot. (The embroidery place talked me into the name facing the silky side because they said it wouldn't work the other way...but I didn't like that. It's fine on the fuzzy side).

This toy flies, and goes much faster downhill than any toy we have had. We have not had an issue with stability as stated in other reviews. All you have to do is remove the plug and put some sand in the base of the cart. My child is in physical therapy 4X each week. This is a toy we use in our sessions. I think it is probably better that they do come off easily instead of breaking off. This line of toys is great and inspires a lot of creative play. I wish we'd gotten them sooner (my son is now 4 but would have liked them at 2). My 2 year old daughter also likes them.

MRC ZD Racing 1/8 Scale 4WD Brushless Electric Buggy Review
